I like to make films because I like to go into another world. I like to get lost in another world. And film to me is a magical medium that makes you dream…allows you to dream in the dark. It’s just a fantastic thing, to get lost inside the world of film.

Also, it’s rumored that Criterion will be releasing some Lynch films in the future…and quite gently, I will cry and shake until I stop breathing.

While the design itself is good, I hate it as a representation for the film. I’m mostly concerned with the sepia coloration of it all, because it completely dismisses the entire color narrative that occurs throughout the film. The image also just feels too flat and minimal, also unfitting. I still think it’s neat artwork though. ^.^
As a very random side note, I remember when I took some AP test in high school, I pretty much quit giving a fuck at some point (which happened in like, all of my AP tests). So as a response to an essay question, or calculus problem or something, I simply wrote “Diane, the car is waiting.” I failed the test, but I am forever gratified.
