Baby wants to fuck.

Today during a class, we watched the “Baby wants to fuckkkk” clip from Blue Velvet and literally no one knew what to do and they were so confused and scared and uncomfortable and I literally LIVE for that feel in other people.

But my friend next to me said that he didn’t like the film because, “As a film major, I didn’t like that it didn’t follow a clear plot.”  WHAT EVEN IS THAT?  I had to retort with, “As a film major, I love the film.”  Obviously I won that debate.

But really it’s one of Lynch’s more linear films.  So for my presentation next week, maybe I’ll dig through the trenches of Lynch’s filmography to find the most surreal and abstract moments and just confuse and anger the fuck out of everyone, for fun.  :3
